We are Legacy 38, a non-governmental and nonprofit organization and we will be organizing a fundraising event to help an isolated and financially struggled Old Folks Home to Make A Difference.

This Old Folks Home, Pusat Jagaan Satu Warga Emas is currently located at a neighborhood in Rawang.

These are the action plans that we are going to carry out: 

1. Renovate and repair their homes

2. Build a surrounding wall to replace their rusty and damaged fence

3. Clean the inner and outer parts of their homes

4. Minor landscaping work 

5. Paint

6. Support the finances of this Old Folks Home for 12 months: monthly rental, petrol budget, 

car loan instalment, cook’s salary and utility bill. 

 

On the 30th of April 2016, 7am – 5.30pm, 36 of us from Legacy 38, together with 40 other volunteers will be carrying out Action Plan No. 1 to No. 5 at the Old Folks Home. 

Our aim is simple: To provide a comfortable living environment for the old folks and build a stable and structured financial support for the Old Folks Home. Most importantly, we want to let the Old Folks to feel our love and care. 

We wish to get your support in order make this mission a success.

征求赞助“爱以关怀，照亮每一个生命”老人院筹款活动

我们Legacy 38是一个非政府，非营利的民间团体将筹备现钱和物品， 来为这一间被隔离以及经济上有困难的老人院站出个立场，做个改变。 这间老人院 – Pusat Jagaan Satu Warga Emas是位于在Rawang的一个住住宅区。

 

我们将会为他们做出以下这些行动：

1. 装修以及修理他们的屋子

2. 建立一个围墙来更换他们已生锈和破坏了的篱笆

3. 清理他们的家的内和外

4. 简单的种些花草和美化他们的园

5. 油漆

6. 支持老人院12个月的财务：月租，车油费，车期，厨师的工钱， 水电费 

 

在2016年4月30日，7点早上到5.30下午，我们36位Legacy 38的会员以及40位的自愿者将会到达老人院，为他们采取以上的第1项到第5项的行动。我们的目的很简单：让老人们有个舒适的居住环境而且给老人院有个更有结构化的经济支持。此外，我们也要让老人们感受到我们的爱与关怀。

我们希望获得您的帮助，帮助我们完成这个筹款活动。

这户口开的目的是给予这个捐钱活动而已，在30/4/2016的活动后的5/5/2016会结账，关掉。

 

2. Why are we doing this? 为什么我们要做这个活动？

Because we want to make a stand for the old folks and contribute back, even a little bit to the society. 因为我们要为这些老人站个立场，为这社会有点贡献。

 

3. Will I have receipt? 我会有收据吗？

Yes, but the receipt is from our Legacy Project team, opened by my treasurer. 

有，但是是我们的财政用我们活动的名义开的。

The Old Folks Home will only issue an Appreciation Letter.

老人院那儿只可以开感恩信。

Our challenges is we need to make sure before 27/4/2016 we can collect RM10,000.00
